A rejuvenating Pilates & Rolfing Retreat in the Philippines
Ea Holm - Rolfing & Massage Therapy
from Denmark, based in Hong Kong
Ea is a certified Rolfer and massage therapist with loyal clients all over the world. She grew up in Denmark, but left at age 20 to travel the world and eventually ended up spending 6 years in New York 4 years in London. Through her travels she discovered a passion for more creative types of movement and found enjoyment in the disciplines of Karate, Yoga, Jazz dance, Pole dance Trapeze, silk and Pilates. After experiencing how restrictions and imbalances in the body would limit her progress in these activities, and at times even cause injuries, she became interested in the healing arts. She completed her training as a Massage Therapist in 2003 at the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in New York where she was trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue, Sports massage, pregnancy massage and shiatsu.
After attending a Myofascial release workshop she became fascinated with the role fascia (the connective tissue surrounding all muscles and organs) plays in postural problems, which led her to complete the Rolfing Certification with the European Rolfing Association in Munich.
Ea is currently based in Hong Kong, and she occasionally travels to give sessions at retreats and workshops as well as to her clients in London and Munich. She especially enjoys working at retreats and workshops because she finds it possible to achieve amazing results with clients that are doing guided movement every day in a relaxed environment away from the stress of daily life. Kishan Shah - Vinyasa Flow Yoga & Ayurvedic Consultation
based in California
Introduced to Yoga at childhood through his father, Kishan grew up sitting with him daily for morning sadhana. The spark for acquiring a deeper understanding into life's metaphysical and spiritual realms led him to pursue a degree in Fine Arts in search of creative expression. After an active career as a visual artist in the US and Paris, Kishan found himself “creatively drained and spiritually hungry”. He moved to India and spent an intense year of training and spiritual practice fully immersing himself into Yoga. He completed his teacher trainings in the Himalayas with Swami Govindananda, and studied Advanced Vinyasa Flow with Shiva Rea at Sacred Movement. He also studied under Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India as well as Lino Miele in Kovalum, India.
Today, he is finishing a graduate degree in Ayurvedic Holistic Medicine and serves as an adjunct Professor at UCLA in the Dept. of World Arts & Cultures lecturing on East Indian spirituality, philosophy, culture, and the practices of Yoga & meditation. Mary is a native of Hong Kong. After earning her bachelors degree in Political Science at the London School of Economics, she went to New York City in the early 90′s to study dance. Since then she has studied from numerous teachers, earning her teacher certifications from Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in 1997 and Jivamukti Yoga Center in 1998. Combining the disciplines of yoga, pilates and dance, Mary teaches a breath-inspired vinyasa style class that balances movement and flow with alignment and precision.

In addition to teaching she was featured in yoga videos, Puma catalogues, the New York Times and on MSNBC. With the arrival of her daughter in 2006, she received her certification in prenatal yoga.
